3 weeks of my army life has past & it definetly was a whole new experience for me. It's not something one would go through everyday. I remember the first week where i was still adjusting to the new life & it was kinda hard at first. Firstly was night time as I had a hard time falling asleep even though i was freaking exhausted as im not use to sleeping without a bolster. We also had to wake up at 5am and do some exercises in the morning. The freaking boots gave me so much blisters on my feet & it was freaking painful. There is more like learning all the do's & don't, commands, the marching moves, all the exercises moves & rifle handling etc.
I remember there was this day where they let us rest in our room quite early in the night & well let's just say there was a reason behind it. All of us were happily brushing our teeth & getting ready for bed & out of a sudden a fire drill alarm was sound. So everyone at 1st thought that it was a joke but fark it was freaking real. So everyone was like rushing to grab our helmet, first aid stuff, id tag, pails & the fire extinguishers. These are the stuff to bring everytime there's a fire drill & we have to shout "FIRE, FIRE!" all the way till we reach the ground floor. It was hilarious lol & our timing was horrible. Those that were showering came down with just a towel haha.
There was also a day where we were told to sleep at 8.30pm & everyone was like shock as damn why do we have to sleep so early. We had no choice as we have to obey the lights out time so everyone just went to bed. At around 3am they woke us up & told us to change to our uniform & we didn't even had the time to brush our teeth & wash our faces. To our surprise we had to march to the Ladang as we'll be having our Rifle Ceremony where we will be getting our Rifle's for the very first time. We had to shout "With this, i will defend my country" & we have to snatch it hard from our sergeant. Haha i kinda screw it up as uppon receivng my rifle, i went to the wrong place as i was suppose to line up at the front haha blur cock me.
There's still more like punishment & stuff but one thing good about the platoon that im in is that they are fun people especially the section that im in. There's teamwork & cooperation. There are times where one screw up or makes a mistake but we all learned from it. I feel that it change us not only our physical state but mentally as well. Some days the training can be so tough till everyone is damn shag & there are aches all over our body not to mention training on the bloody hot sun till everyone skin is getting darker & darker. Too bad we couldn't bring in our own food or mp3 but other than that life in Tekong is pretty alright. Everyone is looking forward to our Passing Out Parade(POP) & ours will be on 090909. We got a special cool date haha. 10 more weeks to go. Well i guess i will stop here even though i still have tons to write but i guess that's all im gonna write for now as im so sleepy right now. Have to book in tomorrow so im gonna go to sleep right now. Before i end this post, as promise from the previous post i will show you guys a horrible black & botak(bald) photo of me.

Sunday 28th June 2009 was my first book out day. It has been a new whole load of experience for me. Every single day pack with strength, speed training, marching lessons, road march, swimming lessons & rifle handlings. All of us are always drench with our own sweat. There are days where it can get tiring but it's still fun & i do enjoy myself. There's just so much for me to write out but i don't really have the time as i need to pack my bag now as im booking in today later in the evening. But so far it has been good & hopefully it will continue to stay that way haha. I will post my new hairstyle on my next book out haha & im so not loving it. Miss my hair=/. Alright cya peepz! It's a Saturday today & i had to cancel my outing plans all thanks to my back. I guess i strain it during my workout the day before. Crap i shouldn't have over done it & now i can't even bend down. Im going to the Army on Monday and hopefully by than it will be alright if not i wonder how am i going to survive the training with a backache.
Life has been good so far & im enjoying every single day of it. Been going out daily with different group of friends & if not i will slacking at my crib watching my favourite shows or playing games so that's probably while im not blogging much these days as im not online very often now. Well too bad this enlistment holiday is coming to an end for me but im glad i really made full use of it. Look how time flies & my enlistment date is in a day's time. Im pretty excited though & a little nervous as im not sure what to expect but i guess it will be fun & exciting haha. Finally done with the packing & im good to go. Since i am stuck at home today i took the time to play with my photoshop again:

It's 5.50am in the morning & instead of sleeping, here i am having my half-boiled eggs with hot peach tea and blogging all due to this random irritating thoughts on my mind. Well i guess it's cool though at least i get to have my favourite breakfast & i better enjoy this while i still can as after this week, i won't get to enjoy any of this as i will be enlisted to the Army & im pretty sure i won't get the chance to do this again.
I don't know why but for the past couple of days, im having a hard time falling asleep even though im exhausted as all this stupid random thoughts keep appearing in my mind. All this flashbacks of the past, present & future suddenly appeared. Im suddenly haunted by the past & a sudden worry for the future ahead for me. I even had strange dreams & it ended in me waking up in the middle of the nigh in cold sweat. I don't know maybe im being paranoid or maybe it's probably nothing. Oh well hopefully it won't happen tonight. Alright im gonna stop here & enjoy my breakfast and when im done i will try to get a shut eye or maybe go for a jog.

Last Friday on the 29th May 2009 was my Graduation Ceremony. It was indeed a memorable & fun day. It's a once in a lifetime experience as it won't happen twice & it's not like everyday that we get to wear the ridiculous "Harry Potter Robe" haha. The worst part on that day is the freaking humid weather. I swear everyone is drenched with their sweats. I was in a mess as i was sweating like a pig haha. But it was still fun. I do feel sad leaving my Poly life but feeling glad at the same time as it has been one hell of a roller coaster ride full of stressful periods but i guess i have learned a lot & gain experience which i believe it somehow made me a better person. It wasn't easy juggling with schoolwork & working part-time at the same time. I was from a Normal Technical stream & a ITE background so it's kinda a disadvantage as i did not have a strong foundation & i really had a hard time coping and catching up with the rest as i was lacking back way too much. But thank god with patience, perseverance & friends guidance i was able to catch up. If you have been reading my blog from the past 3 years, i believe that you will come across post about school & all the stress i had to go through. But it's all over now & Im really thankful to all of my friends in Poly for all of their help. 3 years & i really thank god for pulling me through this journey. Alright enough of my crapping i will now let the pictures below do the talking.

A lesson in life...

I did something unexpectable today which is cooking. Not instant noodles or frying an egg but a real decent meal for my family haha. I made Spaghetti today. Im surprise with myself today as i never cook before in my entire life and im not sure what made me somehow want to cook for my family today haha. It was tiring considering i slept only 2 hours the night before and i had to go to the supermarket in the morning. It was pretty easy but the only part that i hate is cutting the bloody onions. It seriously irritated my eyes but other than that everything was kool. I added some minced meat, mushrooms, green peppers & onions. I added some parmesan cheese for garnishing as well to make it more tasty.
The judges were my parents and i was glad that they love it. My dad even had 2 huge rounds haha. Success indeed:). At least now i prove my sister wrong haha.

Last Sunday on the 26th of April 2009 i had a bbq outing with my JE friends at West Coast Park. We had so much fun and laughter and like the previous bbq which i had with them, it rain again! Now i have been labeled the "RAINMAN" haha. Why does it always have to rain when im organizing a bbq lol but we sure had fun getting wet. The best part is after the rain as the weather is so cooling and beautiful so i was really glad it rain:). There were tons of delicious food and we had more games to play this time. We played Monkey ball, Human Knot, big fish small fish & multiples of 3 which include water bombing punishment for the losers haha. Alright this will be a very long post due to the photos so i shall not elaborate any further and start with my story.
Ok in the morning, i met with my 3 soldiers helpers(Su Wei, Yau Hua & Ruiq Qi) at Woodlands MRT to fetch them to my home as i need them to carry all the stuff to the park. I didn't wanna bother the guys as they are living pretty far from my home place so i got those that were staying quite near. But not to worry, Popular girls may look small but trust me all of them have muscles due to carrying so much stock in work all the time haha. Went to NTUC to get 2 more bottles of drinks in case it wasn't enough and we went to Vista Point to get the waterbombs. After that we took a cab to the park.
Once we were there we clean up the pit area, pack the foods & started the fire. Yau Hua & Su Wei went to Mcdonalds to get some food for us as we haven't eaten a single thing. While i was starting up the fire, all of us heard a thunderstorm lol! A few minutes later my mum, Veron & Casey called telling me that their home area has already rain heavily but our pit area was still sunny but we can hear thunder storms. I kinda panic as history is repeating itself again! So i got Zhen Lin to bring some umbrellas from her home.
After a few hours, it started to rain so all of them move to the shelter to wait for it to stop. While waiting we chat & camwhore a little haha. We also played waterbomb haha.
After a while the rain stop thankfully it was just a short and small one. Casey, Nicole & Leit arrived and so the 2nd bbq session commences. While waiting for the food, some were busy catching flies and torturing them haha. They are really good i must say as they caught a lot haha. The pest control:Kevin,Zhenlin & Jun yi lol. Me, Boon Seng, Su Wei, Yau Hua, Rui Qi & Veron went to fill up the waterbombs. Since the toilet has this banner saying no taking out of water, me and Boon Seng went to the back where there's a small window at the toilet haha. So the girls will fill it up and pass it to us at the window haha! Crazy us:P. After that some of of us went to play monkey ball and soon after we call the rest to play human knot. It was loads of fun haha really hilarious. All i can say is LOL! :)
After playing the games, we went back to start eating the food. But before that we camwhore again haha.

We started eating the food. There were so much food! Casey even brought Cheesy Mussels, Corns, Stingray, Squid, Mash Potatoes, Salmon & her delicious spaghetti. Not to mention there was still chicken wings, satays, sausages & fishballs. Wide spread of delicious food. We were so bloated but there was still room for dessert which is bbq marshmallows. It was my first time bbqing it and wow it's really delicious. We even use them for our group photo taking LOL! Look at all of their faces lol! Hilarious.

After eating, we chill for a while and continue with our games! This time everyone joined in. We played Human Knot and we split into 2 teams. The team that completes the first will get to waterbomb the losing team. First round my team won but the 2nd round we lost haha. Check out the video at the top. Casey & Su Wei cheated lol but round 1 my team also cheated haha so it's fair. All for the name of fun:D.

Soon it was night time and we were still playing games. This time we played our all time favourite "Big Fish, Small Fish" & a new one Multiples of 3. Haha it was so fun so many blur people this time so they keep getting waterbomb lol. The most to get was Su wei haha. Pity her she totally got thrash on that day. Afternoon Boon Seng waterbomb her hair, during monkey ball Jian Yong accidentally kick the ball to her head & night time she keeps getting wet from the waterbombs haha.
After all the games, we went back to chill & eat again. We brought out a cake to celebrate Yau Hua belated Birthday & an advance birthday for Wendy. We slack, chat, joke around & eat till my stomach gonna explode any second haha. So it was around 10pm and soon we started to pack up, change into something dry and off we go.

It was definetly a fun day indeed. I was glad i pull it off and i wanna thank my helpers Su wei, Yau Hua & Rui Qi for helping me with the carrying & Su wei for helping me get the cake. Thank you Veron for being the tour guide for me haha even though your late! lol=X & getting the extra ice. Thank you Jian Yong for booking the pit. Thank you Zhenlin for helping me with the games & umbrellas. Lastly a huge thanks to Casey, Nicole & Leit for the extra delicious food that you guys brought & the charcoal too haha. These will definetly be the day i will certainly treasure:).

What an awesome day it was today as for the first time ever, i watch a movie with my family. We went to Cathay at CausewayPoint to watch this malay horror movie "Jangan Tegur". My dad has been wanting to watch this. The movie is indeed scary all thanks to the sound effect. It was hilarious as all the audience were all scared and they were all screaming and laughing haha. All the aunties and the kids there are really hilarious lol. Quite a good story really enjoyed myself.
After the movie, my sister met us for lunch. We ate at Banquet. Once done my mum and sis went to this shop to get some clothes and scarf. My mum bought 2 blouse and my sis got for herself 2 scarfs. When we were finally done, we went to NTUC to shop for some grocery and some food for dinner. It was indeed a fun day hanging out with my family:).
I still have not blog about the outing i organise with my friends last Sunday. Will try to do it by tonight or tomorrow.

I got my National Service letter today and i got enlisted to Pulau Tekong which means i got into the Army. Well it's not really what i have expected as i was hoping to get into Police or Civil Defence but oh well it doesn't matter as one thing that i have learnt in life and from my past experience is that things happen for a reason. It always turns out to be what i don't want but somehow it will all just turn out pretty good and i get to experience a whole new thing so i will just stick to this believe and hopefully it will be alright. Im kinda excited but a little scared as well as im going to experience a new challenge & something new in life. Won't life be boring if there isn't any spice into it? haha so it's cool:). It's time to be a man.
I will be enlisted somewhere in June and damn im left with 1 month to prepare myself. Crap im so dead well i only got myself to blame haha. Well i started to train a little today. Went to the park to do some running to train up my stamina. Ran 8 rounds at the track field, did some crunches & push-ups. It was tiring but fun as i use to do all those before but due to my hectic schedule in the past and my laziness i kinda stop. Well i guess im gonna bring back that old Faris again. Now i need help with Pull up and my broad jump. Im so lousy and weak now (-_-). Any kind soul wanna help to train me till i can do it within this 1 month period??
While after i did my running, i was kinda walking around the field to cool down and suddenly all this past memory flashbacks appear in my head. All the fun times i had and also all the bad ones came as well. Suddenly thought of this condition of mine and it really made me emo again. But im not gonna let this condition of mine distrupt my life. Im gonna fight it and not think about it anymore. Now all i wanna do is to enjoy life whenever i can:).

I would like to wish Margaret a Happy XX Birthday! May all your wishes & dreams come true:). Met up with Eileen, Audrey & Hwa Nian to celebrate her birthday today. Before that i went out in the morning to met up with Alan as he was kind enough to give me his guest invitation card since he wasn't able to attend for the upcoming Graduation Ceremony. Everyone is like going around begging for more as each student only gets 1 bloody guest invitation card. Stupid right? majority has 2 parents so you can't expect us to only bring along 1 parent. My friend even plan to bring his whole family & won't even care whether they have the guest invitation card haha. So at least now i can bring my mum & dad.
So first we went to catch a movie. While waiting for the movie to start we went to the arcade to play the car racing game haha. It was fun. We watch the movie "Handsome Suit". It's a fun hilarious movie and i really recommend you guys to watch it. Awesome movie i will definetly rate it 5/5 stars. The movie really show us that good looks aren't that important. It's your inside and being your true self makes you more beautiful & that's what really matters. I can't wait to watch this movie call "The Ramen Girl". Judging from the trailer i feel that this is one of the most unique and creative movie. Can't wait for it to be shown on the cinemas. (Haha and guys i know2 next time i better not choose the seating LOL even the seating way i show you guys was relaxing but the neck & back definetly hurts after that haha:P.)
After the movie, we went to Seoul Garden for dinner. Had a lot of fun joking around and chilling out. We ate till we were damn bloated. Delicious food with great friends. After we were done eating, we surprised the birthday girl with a strawberry cake haha. So after dinner, we went to shop around and home sweet home. Had a great time.
Is it me or is the weather getting damn freaking humid these days. I have to switch on the fan or air-con when im at home as i just keep on sweating like a pig. It even made my temper bad haha. How i wish it would rain again. Haiz damn bloody Global Warming.

Sorry for not blogging for so long as i have been so lazy to blog. Been busy with work, outings & especially gaming haha. I have so much to blog out but i lost the blogging bug so i shall just keep them to myself. Me & a couple of friends are currently hook to a game in Facebook. It's call Farm Town. It's a online farming game where you can plant seeds, harvest crops, meet up with other online farmers from all over the globe.
Today's my last day at work. Many asked why considering i have not gotten my NS letter but i feel that it's time. It's time i move on and do something else in life. But im glad i met tons of great people and i have gain so much experience. Like product knowledge, displaying skills, handling difficult people, self confident, im more outspoken now,i don't feel shy talking to strangers anymore and many more. It definetly change me to the better. There is so much people to thank but first of all i wanna thank my first awesome supervisor Wendy Teo for bringing me on board to this outlet because if not for her, i won't be able to meet all this great people. I wanna thank my 2nd supervisor Su Wei as well for being another great supervisor. Great person to joke around with and we definetly rock went we are working together haha. Gonna miss doing "rescue missions" with her lol. And lastly to Casey Lee for being a great friend. Fun person to joke around with and always giving me advise and tips which definetly helps me be a better person. I have learn so much from her and im so blessed to know a person with a beautiful heart. Not forgetting the rest of my close gang in JE Pop. Too many names to mention but i believe you guys know who you are. Thank you guys for everything!
I can't believe i've been working there for 3 years plus now & finally i decided to quit. I have really learn so much and met all sorts of people. I do feel a little sad but happy at the same time and i will definetly miss the people & working at there as well. The thing that i will miss the most is feeling that sense of satisfaction when i manage to complete a task which is tough & when customers have any enquiries and i was able to help them. Getting praises from a customer after helping them really made my day. I still have so much to write but i guess i will stop here or it will never end haha. Goodbye JE Pop.

Work has been hectic for the past few days as we had to prepare for our annual stocktake which was today. We already started preparing the week before and damn it was tiring. I had to rearrange and organise all the children tables as it was in a mess. It was really tiring especially yesterday as it was the precount and i had to rearrange and redo the other tables as it was mess up again but i don't mind as im doing this for my department & my HOD.
Today was the actual day & the outcome was shocking. Really shocking. It was so bloody good! We were the champ! Every Department was good. No major problems:). Damn huge improvement compared to the previous year. Everyone was so happy even Casey shake her butt off and even did a seductive dance lol! Im really glad that all the hard work and effort we put in really pays off. Now the only problem for my department is the after effect haha. Everything is in a mess and we have to put all the things back to it's respective places but it doesn't matter as the result was just heavenly. Awesome job to all the staff man we so beat our rival:D! Especially to those HODs from other places who came to help out. They were damn good and helpful! Really willing to help us. I guess everyone can sleep soundly tonight especially the Manager haha. After work, went to NTUC with my sidekick EMOMUNK, Iza & Mr $Boon$ $$eng$ to shop for some stuff. After that me and Mr $Boon$ $$eng$ headed to IMM to walk around and ate dinner as well. This would be my third stocktake in my current workplace and this will definetly be the most memorable one ever. I feel that i gave it my all and im really glad that the outcome turn out great. All the sweat and stress really paid off. That's the least i could do for my last stocktake.
Oh ya finally this blog has a new look. After procrastinating for so long, i finally made one a couple of weeks ago. Haha it was so random. I love the color combination & everyone seem to say that it's another emo layout by Faris haha. Ya i may quit the emo club but im always an emo at heart lol. Emo & shy BADMAN! :[

I enjoy watching Bunifah Latifah Halifah Shalifah Jackson videos. She's one fine damn hilarious comedian. Her favourite line is "what did i do?" & "black woman....". Everytime went im feeling down, this girl never fails to make me laugh hysterically. If you guys haven't heard or seen her videos well i really recommend you guys to go check it out.
